We are offering six semester undergraduate course in Physics under Sant Gadge baba Amravati University, Amravati. Physics, being a natural science, investigates on the interactions among various particles and force-fields; those govern the rhythms of the dynamics of ever-alive universe. We have faculty with interest ranging from research, theoretical and practical aspects of Quantum Mechanics, Classical Mechanics, Electromagnetic Theory, Electronics etc.

Department organizes class test on each unit of the syllabus for each semester. It prepare the students for written examination. Department also organizes various activities such as guest lectures, poster presentation competition, participation in Avishkar competition, Science Day competition. Department felicitate the entire participants in the competition with the certificates. Students who shows extraordinary performance in the competition they are felicitate by the prizes. Apart from teaching, faculties actively engage in student seminars, group discussion and extra-curricular activities. Our department focus on the overall development of students with their maximum participation in a co-curricular activities.

All faculty members are actively involved in creative research in field like synthesis and characterization of various materials. Faculty has published about 25 research papers in reputed journal.
