Department of Commerce, Year of establishment -2009

Established in 2009, the Department of Commerce at Commerce Department aims to support fundamental Commerce of the highest quality in a first class physical environment. Our enthusiastic research culture embraces new challenging areas, including strong collaborations with other academic disciplines, while maintaining a powerful presence in the traditional fundamental areas of Commerce. The Commerce Department hosts around more than 1000 students from rural area, qualified academic staff, including newly independent researchers.

The department, right from its inception has given high priority for research. Every year research papers are published in national & International Journals and during years staff members presented their papers in national & International Conferences.

The Commerce Department aims to recruit the highest quality undergraduate and graduate students. Commerce society is constituted for overall personality development of U.G. students and undertake extracurricular activities and Academic Activities. The department is focused in both teaching and high quality research (basic and multidisciplinary) in the frontier areas of Commerce and its interface with allied disciplines. The department is offering B.Com. degree in program i.e. Institute fellowship is also offered to deserving candidates.
