Since inception, the Department is offering UG Programme in Computer Science and Computer Application. The Department has good infrastructure in terms of Computer Laboratories with optic fiber lease line connectivity with 100 MBPS bandwidth. The whole campus is WI-FI enabled. The Department is also taking efforts to prepare the students for their better placement. Seminar, group discussion, unit test and audio-visual techniques are adopted in order to make teaching learning more effective. As a result students obtain high marks in the university examination. For the overall development of students, various activities are conducted throughout the year. Department organizes Guest Lectures of eminent personalities on various topics related to Computer networking for students. Extra classes are also conducted for the weak students to increase their ability to remember, recall and understand the subject.

In this age of advance technology, Computer science is the core of every science. The wonders of science which seem to excel the wonders of nature have affected our everyday life. Life today is governed and conditioned by the Computers and it is very difficult to imagine existence without them. Computer Science invented the things for the other sciences. We tried to introduce our students about this power and this advanced technology to make them liable for nation building. The twenty first century has brought before us the information age. Computers & Internet have radically transformed our lives & opened up new avenues of knowledge, information, employment and communication. computer literacy has become essential for survival & growth in the knowledge society & for the advancement of career path.
